Terms of service

Draft. These terms still need legal review and the operator's details. Last updated: [date].

1. Who provides the service

DaisyTasks is provided by [operator name, address, company/tax number], contact [email address] ("we").

2. The apps

The DaisyTasks apps are free to use. They store your tasks on your device. You may sync them through a server you run yourself at no cost.

3. DaisyTasks Sync (subscription)

4. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

[You have 14 days to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason. If you ask for the service to start during that period, you pay for the service provided until you withdraw. To withdraw, write to [email address] or cancel from the subscription page and ask for a refund.] — wording to be confirmed in legal review.

5. Your data and your keys

6. Fair use

Each vault has a storage quota and rate limits that comfortably cover personal task management. Don't use the service to store unrelated data, attack or overload it, or try to access vaults that aren't yours.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep sync available but can't guarantee uninterrupted service; the apps keep working offline and catch up later. We may change the service or these terms; we'll announce material changes in advance. If we ever stop the hosted service, we'll give at least [90] days' notice; your data stays on your devices and can move to a self-hosted server.

8. Liability

[Limitation of liability as permitted by law; nothing limits liability that can't be limited, including mandatory consumer rights.]

9. Law and disputes

[Polish law applies, without depriving consumers of the protection of the mandatory rules of their country of residence. EU online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.]
